This was a hotly anticipated return visit to South Newington Village hall and although small it is just right for a small children’s party.

Tammy was joining me as usual for this party and after an uneventful journey of 20mins we pulled up at the venue.

We went in to see who was about and found Mum Venetia and Nan getting the last bits sorted so after the greetings and Nan moving her car so I could get a bit closer Tammy and me got on with unloading and getting set up.

All done and checked ok all we had to do now was wait for the children to arrive from school.

The party had a “Super Hero” theme so we had some great costumes but it was dominated by Spiderman and 60’s Batman as one would expect, but the costumes were brilliant.

We started as normal with a chat with The star of the day - “Digby” who asked for a “Fun - Loud & Silly party” - No worries there Digby!!!!!

Part One was a frantic fun session with party dances and heaps of fun and with the prize of sweeties on offer the children entered into anything we did with gusto.

The break for food soon arrived and the children then departed to the tables for hot dogs and a drink.

We always do the birthday cake at the end of the food and before part two starts so it is done and out of the way.

So our “Star” came up and did the candle bit and chose some of his friends to receive sweeties for singing “Happy Birthday” the nicest.

Part two was a mixture of disco dancing and more fun and silliness but alas all good things must end so at Mums request we wound the party up for the requested finish.

Nan for all the drinks

Tammy for her hard work as normal

But the biggest thank you must go to Digby for choosing us to be the entertainers of choice for his party.
