Tammy and myself arrived at The Drayton Golf Club just outside Banbury on a very cold evening to set up for this Children’s Christmas Party.

This is one of our regular festive bookings and one that we look forward to every year but this year the party had outgrown the company canteen hence the change of venue.

Viv the organiser arrived soon after us and after the usual introductions we each finished setting up and getting ready for the children to arrive.

Very soon Viv opened the doors and let the very excited children queued up at the door come in.

Part One was timed at 30 mins so it was straight to business with the Christmas chaos and silliness with the children singing a couple of festive songs then we went straight into our new party dance “Doe-a-dear“ which is going down really well.

The interval came round so very quick and the children were all released to the tables for their food and drink

Part Two was a quick muck about with two party dances before the entrance of “Santa“ which made a few children hyper ventilate!!! After a quick chat with the big man he then set about giving out the presents to the children.

Now, this is where things got a bit strange!!!

Santa normally comes in does his bit then he is gone!!! Not this time…….

Tammy had received a request from Santa himself asking for the chance to do a dance with the children - "The Macarena"

Dance done and he was gone as quick as he had appeared, so the last part of the party was ended with our finishing songs and that was it for another year.
