We have not been to this venue for a long-time so it was a pleasant change.

The hall itself is huge and also has one of the best stages I have ever used so that was a good start.

Upon our arrival, we met mum and dad (Victoria and Julian) mum was doing the hard work sat on the stage blowing up balloons whilst dad was walking around doing eerrmmmm not sure really!!!

After the initial meeting Tammy and me got on with the job of setting up the system which was our baby system plus the par cans, just right for the 20 or so children expected.

After a short while the “Stars of the party arrived very excited and after my usual chat and introductions everything was ready for the guests to arrive.

We received the official nod from dad as our cue to start the chaos but he also said to me that Poppy was a very shy little girl and if I could crack her and make her smile then he would take his hat off to me - challenge accepted dad!!

Tammy and me invited the girls up on to the stage for the official chat and it took me only about 2 mins and I had Poppy laughing - RESULT!!!

From that point on it was a terrific party and also every time I needed the “Stars” up on stage poppy was the first every time, and you can see in this photo she was always right down the front dancing.

Again it was our very successful mixture of party dances/disco dancing and silliness that the children enjoyed..

I did have to have a chat with Nanny Francis at one point and even she was having fun.

Our usual closer “Country Roads” signalled the end of the party and what a party it was, how can 17 girls and 3 boys be so loud??
