One thing I must mention is when we arrived at the gate of the camp we were stopped and told that we could not enter without an official pass which gave me an idea.

I said to the gate lady that our third team member would be coming in at about 7:00pm and could she stop him and make a big thing about him not having a pass to get in, this idea she revelled in and said “I love winding people up, leave it to me” - “Result”

It was about 7:15pm (ish) and while Tammy and myself were having a chat with Nick the sound man my phone went and it was a very panicky Flyboy who told me ha had been stopped etc etc but they let him in and when he parked up I could tell he was not a happy bunny but what a great sport though!!! Cheers buddy.

So onto the show,

The marquee filled up very quickly with some very excited beavers and a mixture of parents and leaders so it was looking to be a great audience for us.

Boy what a night, even though we only had 1.5 hours to do it was amazing and everyone certainly had a lot of fun.

Tammy was chatting to a very good friend of Bumble ‘B‘ - “Willow“ who told everyone that she was gutted to have missed the event due to being trapped in a tent elsewhere on the field serving hot dogs!!
