Tammy and myself arrived at the venue in the pouring rain which is never a good thing especially having to face unloading the equipment and getting a good soaking.

We pulled up in the car park to be met by the caretaker “Brian” who was the most helpful caretaker I have ever met!!!

Although we have been to this venue many times this was the first time we had encountered him so we let him go through his spiel of where things were etc.

Then what he said next was something that set this man aside from all other caretakers!!!!

He asked me how I was going to unload and I pointed to a gap in the playing field barrier and carry the equipment down the path, “No no no boy” he said “open that gate there and drive over the playing field and park next to the door boy - coolio but it got better.

Once unloaded into the hall he said if you set up there (pointing to one end of the room) that stupid limiter will keep going off and ruin your party (we knew this) and he went on to direct me to half way down the wall and said “you plug it in there boy and you will have no problems - RESULT!!!

Next thing was to meet Polly - “The Star Of The Day” and after a little chat with her I soon discovered that she was really excited and looking forward to a fun loud silly party.

So then, gear set up and sorted and it was time for the party, and what a party it was to.

The whole audience of 28 of Polly’s friends along with a selection of parents were really up for some serious fun and we delivered it in spades.

Party dances - silly competitions and a bit of disco dancing was the order of the day.

The one thing that I enjoyed was every time I looked over to Polly she had this huge smile on her face which did not leave so she was having the time of her life.
