Event Reports
It is always nice to meet and entertain a brand new audience and this is what happened at this party event.
Loaded up and fired up the voyager and was soon in a very nice little village called Kempsford which incidentally is just down the road from RAF Fairford home of the International Air Tattoo which me and my team entertain at over the whole week end doing various spots on the main concert stage.
Anyway, back to the important issue of this party.
I had arranged with Dad (Paul) to meet him at the venue at 11:00am to set up for a 12noon start but the journey to the venue was brilliant and I found myself outside the hall 45mins before the due arrival time!!! So a quick call to dad saw him come down and open up early so I could set up at my leisure and it was great.
11:00am and all is ready and checked I am actually flying solo for this one due to the other team members doing other important things so I gave them all the day off!!!
I also met Mum (Kerry) and Karly’s brother Jack and her wonderful little baby sister Hannah.
So then the main party was another chaotic fun event which was made more enjoyable by the mums who had stayed and were giving their input which was really funny especially one certain mum who works for British airways as cabin crew.
I did ask her if she got cross with people who refer to them as “Trolley Dollies” and she said that she was not one but she was “The Dragon with the wagon”
A fast paced mixture of party dances/balloon modelling/disco dancing and general craziness saw everyone with huge smiles and there was heaps of laughter.
I ended with the normal finishing “Country Roads” party dance and it was all done.
I would like to thank both Mum & Dad (Kerry & David) for the booking and a special big thank you to the “Star of the day” - Karly and all her friends.
